Accounts Receivable Manager
About the role:
Manufacturing ompany seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Manager to lead AR team and ensure the accurate, timely processing of receivables. This role is responsible for overseeing the full AR cycle, mentoring team members, and partnering with other departments to resolve discrepancies and improve processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise, train, and support onsite and remote AR team members
Oversee daily AR functions including invoicing, credit memos, cash applications, and account reconciliations
Monitor past-due accounts, unapplied cash, and customer communications
Ensure accuracy in month-end and year-end close activities, including accruals and cutoffs
Maintain AR records and reporting in compliance with internal controls and J-SOX
Support cross-functional teams with research and resolution of AR-related issues
Recommend process improvements and drive quality and efficiency
Qualifications:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
7+ years of accounting experience, with strong AR and reconciliation background
Proven leadership and problem-solving skills
Proficient in Excel, Word, and other Windows-based applications
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and maintain confidentiality
