Job Description

Akkodis is seeking a detail-oriented Asset Coordinator in Redmond, WA, to manage, track, and maintain calibration tools and equipment critical to our technical operations. This role ensures accurate asset documentation, oversees procurement and disposal processes, and coordinates calibration and maintenance activities to ensure optimal asset performance. The ideal candidate brings both administrative precision and a technical understanding of calibration equipment and processes.

Salary Range: $25-28/hr ; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Job Type: 10+ months contract

Key Responsibilities:

Asset Inventory Management & Documentation

  • Maintain accurate records of calibration tools and equipment.
  • Conduct regular audits to verify inventory accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
  • Generate technical reports on asset usage, maintenance, and calibration.
  • Ensure complete and correct data entry into asset management systems.
  • Organize and structure asset-related data to facilitate analysis and reporting.
  • Collaborate with teams to resolve data inconsistencies and ensure data integrity.

Asset Procurement & Disposal

  • Coordinate with procurement for the acquisition of calibration tools and equipment.
  • Oversee proper disposal of obsolete or non-functional assets in compliance with company policies.
  • Evaluate and select vendors for calibration services.

Asset Maintenance & Calibration

  • Schedule and monitor calibration activities to ensure equipment accuracy and compliance.
  • Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely maintenance and calibration.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of all calibration and maintenance actions for audit readiness.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Serve as a liaison between technicians, engineers, and procurement teams to support asset needs.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to manage asset movement and operational requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Certifications in inventory management, procurement, or asset management are a plus.
  • Prior experience in asset or inventory management in a technical or engineering environment.
  • Experience working with calibration tools and understanding calibration standards.
  • Familiarity with audit procedures, reporting, and vendor coordination.
  • Proficiency with inventory management systems and database tools.
  • Understanding of calibration tools, equipment, and basic maintenance requirements.
  • Ability to interpret and analyze technical data and generate accurate reports.

Additional Requirements:

  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance standards related to asset management.
  • Ability to support physical inventory or equipment movement as needed.
  • Flexibility to adjust working hours to meet operational or team coordination needs.
