Must Haves:
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3 years of manufacturing progressive experience in Purchasing
Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the global purchasing team to align with corporate objectives and contribute to global sourcing initiatives.
- Drive continuous improvements in procurement processes and support cost reduction and efficiency goals.
- Ensure material availability to support production schedules and meet customer demand.
- Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels in line with plant targets and inventory control best practices.
- Conduct regular inventory reviews, reconcile physical counts with ERP records, and resolve discrepancies.
- Secure and coordinate inbound freight operations.
- Maintain accurate purchasing and procurement data within the ERP system.
- Manage ERP material cost pricing and ensure timely updates to reflect market and contractual changes.
- Issue purchase orders and ensure order accuracy in alignment with production and inventory needs.
- Select and manage suppliers for direct and indirect materials, ensuring alignment with global procurement standards.
- Negotiate contract terms, conditions, and pricing with suppliers.
- Support and implement global purchasing agreements for strategic suppliers in collaboration with the global sourcing team.
- Monitor supplier performance across quality, technical capability, pricing, and delivery metrics.
