Position: Buyer

Location: Tulsa, OK

Pay: $55,000 to $65,000/year (BOE)

Experience: Previous experience in procurement or a related field is preferred.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field is a plus.

Type: Full-time; Direct Hire

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am to 5pm

ProRecruiters is seeking a Buyer to join a growing and dynamic team! Provide material quotes in support of the new programs and orders recurring material required to support production and production activities. Prepares and negotiates long-term agreements in support of customer demand. Works on cost savings initiatives and leads supplier quality and delivery improvement plans.

Job Description:

• Prepare and issue Request for Quotes to suppliers in support of engineering and operations.
• Communicate with suppliers to negotiate prices and delivery times.
• Monitor stock levels and track orders to ensure timely delivery.
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and procedures.
• Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analyses and performance metrics.

Position Requirements:

• Proficiency in ERP systems.
• Experience with raw material buying and consolidation is preferred
• Demonstrated proficiency with Excel and Office software
• Ability to interpret customer/engineering specifications
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently.
