My client, a leading manufacturer of power distribution solutions, is seeking a CAD Designer to join their engineering team.
What you’ll do:
Translate product requirements into detailed 2D/3D CAD models and drawings
Apply GD&T, create BOMs, and manage ECOs
Collaborate with engineers and manufacturing teams to ensure designs are production-ready
What we’re looking for:
Must-haves: SolidWorks (or similar CAD), GD&T, BOM/ECO experience
Nice-to-haves: Sheet-metal design, cable assemblies, PDM/PLM systems
Hidden signals of success: Background in job shops or contract design environments
Candidates with concept-only portfolios or limited manufacturing detail experience will not be a fit.
