Akkodis is seeking a CNC Machinist/Programmer for a Direct Hire/Full Time position in Auburn Hills, MI.
Shift:
Day Shift- 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
OVERTIME = Time and One Half.
Experience with GUN DRILL MACHINES preferred AND MUST BE ABLE TO PROGRAM IN SOFTWARE.

Client is an industry leading tooling company who is searching for a CNC Machinist. The CNC Machinist/Programmer has a background in machine operation and CNC programming. Our customers are automotive manufacturers and suppliers in one of the fastest growing automotive regions.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Ability to lift 5 - 50 pounds. Ability to safely operate overhead crane (up to 40-ton capacity) and power industrial truck (up to 12,000-pound capacity). In order to safely operate crane and power industrial truck, the operator/individual is required to have the following; 20/20 vision (or corrected through glasses/contacts), have effective use of all four limbs, be of a height sufficient to operate controls and to have an unobstructed view of the work area, have coordination between eyes, hands, and feet, be free of known convulsion disorders and unconsciousness, and the ability to understand signs, labels, and instructions. Strong eye and hand coordination is required. Requires frequent hand movements to operate controls. Ability to safely enter and exit machine through climbing, reaching, and squatting.
