Job Description

About Wondercide

was founded 15 years ago by Stephanie Boone when her dog Luna became ill from what her vet suspected was conventional flea and tick treatments and monthly pest control services. Stephanie knew there had to be a better way and set out on a mission to invent a plant-powered alternative. Today, Wondercide offers a comprehensive line of plant-powered pest control solutions for your pets, yard, home, and family with +50,000 5-star reviews on Amazon.

Wondercide, based in Austin, TX, is a privately held, high-growth, and digitally native consumer packaged goods company that has an omni-channel presence and is expanding into specialty brick & mortar and beyond. The company is a vertically integrated organization where sales, marketing, creative content, customer service, innovation, procurement, mixing, production, fulfillment, and more are all done in-house. This allows the team to control their own destiny from a multi-year roadmap down to quality of execution via operational excellence.

We are a close-knit, highly collaborative team of ‘doers’ who operate in an entrepreneurial and KPI driven environment. Grit, Action, Curiosity, Ownership, and Insight are the five operating values we embody in our day-to-day work.

At Wondercide, we’re driven by a Fierce Love® for families. We wake up every day inspired by our mission to protect families of every kind, everywhere from pests with safe, effective pest control solutions. We work with Mother Nature to deliver plant-powered products that promote well-being. We do this so families can live long, happy, and healthy lives together. We believe in doing whatever it takes to protect those we love…and that when you know better, you should do better. Our promise to customers: they’ll never have to go it alone. We’re in this together and we’ll be there to support each step of the way.

As part of their growth, Wondercide is seeking a Quality & Continuous Improvement Lead to join the Wondercide Pack.

The Role

The Quality & Continuous Improvement Lead plays a critical role in advancing Wondercide’s Operational Excellence journey. Reporting to the Executive Director of Manufacturing Operations, this role will champion LEAN methodology and cultivate a culture of daily improvement across Production, Fulfillment, Supply Chain, and Mixing. This position will lead improvement projects, facilitate training and Kaizen events, build problem-solving capabilities within the team, and deliver measurable outcomes tied to efficiency, quality, and cost. This is a visible, hands-on role — excellent for someone who thrives on the floor, builds buy-in, influences others, and helps organizations evolve.

Key Responsibilities

Continuous Improvement Leadership

  • Lead continuous improvement projects that drive efficiency, reduce waste, and improve quality across operational teams.
  • Maintain and prioritize a portfolio of CI opportunities with clear business case evaluation.
  • Support the development and tracking of annual CI cost reduction goals and report on quarterly progress.

Lean Training & Facilitation

  • Deliver LEAN Basics and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) training to 100% of Operations team members.
  • Facilitate Kaizen events using an iterative, multi-week approach to maximize adoption and sustainment.
  • Coach teams on Kaizen charters, Waste Walks, 5 Whys, PDCA cycles, and project justification.

Engagement & Adoption

  • Champion a culture where waste identification and continuous improvement are part of daily work habits.
  • Be regularly present on the production floor to observe, support, and guide problem-solving in real-time.
  • Influence without authority — fostering collaboration, clarity, and shared ownership.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or relevant experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience implementing Lean / Continuous Improvement programs.
  • Demonstrated experience leading Kaizen events and LEAN tools such as PDCA, 5S, Standard Work, A3, Gemba, etc.
  • Formal training or certifications (LEAN, Six Sigma, TPS, Kaizen Facilitation, etc.) preferred.
  • Strong project management and communication skills; able to engage across every level of the organization.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with SAP or similar systems preferred.
  • Experience working within a Tiered Management environment is highly valued.

What’s In It For You

  • Work with a passionate, mission-driven team.
  • A culture that encourages curiosity, growth, and development.
  • State-of-the-art facility with a collaborative work environment.
  • Bring your dog to work!
  • Fully stocked kitchen and plenty of team engagement activities.

Location

This role is onsite at Wondercide Headquarters in Round Rock, TX .
