Orion Group is hiring an expert Contract Documentation Specialist with a background in market research, data, and analytics contracts to manage and execute quick-turn projects under tight deadlines for our pharmaceutical client in Mettawa, IL.

This role involves high-stakes negotiations and requires someone capable of delivering significant savings while maintaining quality and compliance.

Exceptional consultation and stakeholder engagement skills are crucial.

Contract Documentation Specialist Responsibilities:

• Work closely with stakeholders to swiftly execute contracting projects, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
• Provide expert consultation services on contract management, focusing on market research, data, and analytics.
• Scrutinize Statements of Work (SOW) to identify and capitalize on cost-saving opportunities while maintaining service excellence.
• Lead negotiations to secure favorable terms and strong SLAs (Service Level Agreements) in high-pressure settings.
• Monitor and report on contract statuses, providing insightful updates and recommendations to the Category Associate Director.
• Manage and prioritize tasks effectively, balancing simultaneous projects under tight timelines.
• Implement process improvements and cost-saving strategies without compromising quality or compliance.

Contract Documentation Specialist Qualifications:

• Extensive contracting experience in the biopharmaceutical or healthcare industries
• Expertise in negotiating SOWs related to market research, data, and analytics.
• Proven track record of achieving savings and value in high-stakes negotiation environments
• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong analytical abilities to identify opportunities within contracts.
• Excellent communication and consultation skills to engage and influence stakeholders.
