Pay Range: $68/hr - $75/hr​

As a Data Analyst focused on Regulatory Reporting and Content Moderation, you will be an integral part of a team dedicated to maintaining a safe and compliant gaming ecosystem. You will dive deep into player safety data, analyze content moderation effectiveness, and ensure alignment with evolving regulatory requirements. Your insights will directly influence policy decisions and shape the player experience.

What You'll Do:

  • Gather, analyze, and interpret safety-related data from various internal sources.
  • Support compliance with international regulatory frameworks by providing data-driven insights.
  • Build and maintain queries to extract data for transparency and compliance reports.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to adapt reporting logic to changing regulations.
  • Advise on reporting parameters and ensure alignment with legal and regulatory standards.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies in data reporting across systems.
  • Ensure consistent and accurate data narratives.
  • Support data infrastructure and reporting needs across teams.
  • Represent the organization in meetings, contribute to documentation, and participate in process reviews.
  • Independently prioritize tasks, conduct analyses, and deliver actionable insights.
  • Present findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Must-Haves:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8-10 years of applicable industry experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience with advanced SQL and Python scripting.
  • 3+ years of experience with data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.
  • Hands-on experience with data transformation tools (e.g., Databricks, Apache Spark).
  • Proficiency in Python or R for data analysis, automation, and scripting.
  • Experience with APIs and data pipelines.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based data ecosystems.
  • Understanding of data warehousing and distributed computing concepts.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Excellent verbal, visual, and written communication skills.
  • Experience in data analysis within a regulatory or compliance setting.
  • Knowledge of global data privacy and safety regulations.
  • Experience working with compliance teams or legal frameworks.
  • Interest or experience in the gaming industry.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $68/hr - $75/hr. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
