Job Description

We’re seeking a Data Center Construction Manager to lead day-to-day execution for greenfield and brownfield GPU data center builds across global locations. This role is responsible for driving fast-track, mission-critical construction projects to completion while meeting extremely high power and cooling density requirements.

Role Overview

You will oversee general contractors, trades, and vendors to deliver safe, on-schedule, on-budget facilities. This position requires exceptional field leadership, deep technical understanding of CSA and MEP systems, and the ability to manage complex, high-intensity builds in a rapidly evolving environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build, manage, and execute fully integrated schedules (Primavera P6, MS Project) across design, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
  • Lead the safety program on-site and drive a zero-incident culture across all subcontractors.
  • Coordinate CSA and MEP trades, resolving field issues in real time to maintain progress.
  • Track and report daily progress, spending, earned value, resource loading, and issue recovery plans when needed.
  • Oversee QA/QC, material submittals, RFIs, and change-order processes.
  • Partner with Design, Procurement, Commissioning, and Operations teams to ensure smooth handoffs and alignment.
  • Develop scopes of work and technical exhibits for critical-path packages.
  • Manage execution of construction contracts from award through close-out, including compliance with schedule, budget, and technical requirements.
  • Ensure contractors meet all deliverables, reporting requirements, payment terms, and site protocols.

About You

  • Degree in engineering or related discipline; construction management background preferred.
  • 7+ years leading hyperscale, semiconductor, or mission-critical construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of CSA and MEP phases, procurement workflows, scheduling, and cost controls.
  • Proven success delivering fast-track projects across multiple regions.
  • OSHA 30 (or equivalent) with strong knowledge of NFPA 70E, local codes, and permitting.
  • Excellent leadership, subcontractor management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to read BIM/Revit models and interpret IFC drawings on the fly.
  • Willingness to travel 50%+ to active project sites.

Benefits

  • Competitive total compensation package
  • Retirement or pension plan aligned with local regulations.
  • Health, dental, and vision benefits.
  • Generous PTO aligned with local norms.
  • Equity offerings may be included as part of total compensation.
