Russell Tobin's client, an American multinational financial services company, is hiring a Data Entry Specialist/Insurance Specialist in St. Paul, MN 55107 (Hybrid)

Employment Type: Contract

Job Title: Data Entry Specialist/Insurance Specialist

Location: St. Paul, MN 55107 (Hybrid)

Duration: 09+ Months with the possibility of extension or conversion

Pay rate: $21.00-$23.00/hour. on W2

Work Schedule: Standard Business Hours (Monday – Friday)

Job Summary:

Seeking an entry-level insurance support professional to assist with processing insurance-related tasks, data entry, license renewals, and quality control. This role is part of a compliance department within a regulated financial services environment. Ideal for someone detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and eager to learn and grow into a long-term opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process insurance license renewals and appointment requests.
  • Review and update data based on reports and internal systems.
  • Identify and communicate gaps or errors in data using quality control reports.
  • Support documentation and administrative tasks related to insurance processing.
  • Collaborate with the team and share ideas or suggestions as familiarity with the role increases.
  • Maintain accuracy and confidentiality in all data handling.

Required Skills:

  • Strong problem-solving and investigative mindset .
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office , especially Excel .
  • Ability to work across multiple internal systems and web-based platforms .
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • No formal degree required.
  • Prior experience in insurance, data entry, or administrative roles is a plus but not required .
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
