Job Title: Director of Food & Beverage

Job Summary:

The Director of Food & Beverage is responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the hotel’s food and beverage operations, including restaurants, bars, room service, catering, and banquets. This role ensures guest satisfaction, team engagement, profitability, and adherence to brand standards. The ideal candidate is a strategic leader with a passion for hospitality, strong financial acumen, and a proven track record in upscale food & beverage operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all F&B outlets including restaurants, lounges, room service, and banquet operations.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve revenue, profitability, and customer service goals.
  • Manage all departmental budgets, labor costs, inventory control, and P&L performance.
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, sanitation, and guest service.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef and culinary team on menu development and innovation.
  • Monitor and analyze guest feedback to drive continuous improvement in F&B services.
  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing food and beverage team.
  • Ensure compliance with all local health regulations, safety standards, and alcohol laws.
  • Plan and execute special events, private dining, and banquet functions in coordination with Sales & Events teams.
  • Build and maintain vendor relationships to ensure quality products and favorable pricing.
  • Stay current on industry trends and competitor offerings to position the hotel competitively.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Culinary Arts, Business, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive food and beverage management experience, preferably in a hotel or resort setting.
  • Proven ability to lead teams and deliver exceptional guest experiences.
  • Strong financial management, budgeting, and forecasting skills.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations, food handling procedures, and liquor laws.
  • Proficiency with POS systems, inventory systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Flexible schedule, including availability on nights, weekends, and holidays.
