  • Lead investigations and root cause analyses for safety incidents, ensuring findings translate into meaningful learning and prevention.
  • Support HR in incident and injury management, including accurate and timely reporting, investigation support, and claim management.
  • Act as company liaison during OSHA and regulatory inspections or audits.

  • Maintain compliance with OSHA standards and other required documentation such as SDS.
  • Oversee PPE and respirator usage compliance, including medical evaluations and fit testing coordination.
  • Develop and lead safety communications, equipment inspections, field audits, and awareness programs that keep safety visible, relevant, and lived daily across all teams.

Procurement:

  • Oversee procurement related to safety and operational readiness, ensuring teams are always equipped with safe, compliant, and purpose-fit tools and materials.
  • Manage procurement, distribution, and tracking of:
  • PPE for all field personnel
  • Equipment and materials supporting safe and efficient field operations
  • Jobsite protection materials such as containment systems, environmental controls, and property safeguards
  • Consumables and chemicals
  • Maintain standards for ordering, storage, and distribution of all safety-related resources.
  • Monitor inventory, restock proactively, and identify cost-saving or efficiency opportunities without compromising safety or quality.
  • Partner with operations, warehouse, and accounting teams to ensure accuracy, accountability, and readiness.
  • Develop preferred supplier programs and bulk purchasing discounts as well as national distribution channels to be leveraged across all field locations.

Warehouse Safety, Organization, and Standardization:

  • Ensure all Insurcomm warehouses meet consistent standards for safety, cleanliness, and organization.
  • The Portsmouth, NH warehouse serves as the gold standard: clean, well-lit, painted white, organized, and efficiently arranged to support operations. Other warehouses should adhere to the same principles, scaled appropriately to size and operations.
  • Develop and enforce warehouse safety protocols, proper storage practices, and regular audits.
  • Partner with local leadership to implement continuous improvement initiatives that enhance safety, efficiency, and readiness for field operations.
  • Standardize material storage, labeling, and inventory management to maintain operational consistency across all locations.

Certification and Workforce Readiness:

  • Serve as administrator for key company certifications, ensuring compliance, timely renewals, and alignment with industry standards (IICRC, RIA, Mold Remediation, OSHA 10/30, NETI, etc.).
  • Maintain digital training and certification database tracking all employee credentials and renewal timelines.
  • Develop annual certification training plans and schedules, maintain digital database tracking, and perform audits for company compliance.
  • Coordinate ongoing training, recertification, and education opportunities that help every employee take ownership of their professional development.
  • Partner with HR and Operations to embed safety training into onboarding, leadership development, and daily operations.
  • Champion a learning culture that encourages curiosity, accountability, and pride in professional craftsmanship.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong understanding of OSHA, EPA, and relevant state and industry safety standards.
  • Skilled in procurement, warehouse logistics, and equipment management.

  • Experience leading safety and compliance for multi-office locations.
  • Exceptional communication and influence skills, with the ability to engage field, warehouse, and office teams alike.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, with a passion for documentation and follow-through.
  • Ability to lead by example—showing care, humility, and consistency in all safety and training efforts.
