Job Description

Tasks

  • Development and maintenance of Drupal-based applications
  • Translating functional requirements into technical specifications
  • Implementation of new features and improvement of existing solutions
  • Integration of graphic mock-ups into working frontend components
  • Writing and executing functional and unit tests
  • Debugging, troubleshooting, and fixing technical issues
  • Tracking personal tasks and reporting progress to project management
  • Participation in full project lifecycle activities
  • Providing technical support to internal teams when necessary
  • Ensuring code quality, security, and performance standards

Requirements

  • 5+ years of CMS development experience (Drupal, WordPress, or similar)
  • 5+ years of experience with PHP and MySQL
  • Strong background in Drupal site building and custom module development
  • Solid knowledge of PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Twig
  • Experience with Git and modern version control practices
  • Understanding of functional and unit testing (PhpUnit)
  • Practical knowledge of API integration and security best practices
  • Fluent English and Hungarian
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving mindset
  • Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines
  • Proactive attitude toward learning new technologies
  • Independent and structured working style
  • Technical environment: Drupal 9/10, PHP 7.x / 8.x, MySQL / PostgreSQL, Symfony 5+, Linux, Git / GitLab, PHPStorm, hosting platforms such as Platform.sh or Azure

Nice to have

  • Experience with DevOps practices (CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Composer)
  • Knowledge of cloud hosting and deployment automation
  • Experience working in international, distributed teams
  • Familiarity with large-scale, multi-site Drupal environments
  • French language knowledge is an advantage
