Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented  Economic Development Associate to support a variety of high-impact initiatives. This position plays a critical role in securing funding, ensuring compliance, fostering government partnerships, and advancing community and economic development projects. Delta takes on a client’s aspiration, assists in defining the project, and deliberately executes the strategy to make that aspiration a reality. Delta has been delivering on behalf of its clients for over 35 years.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write and manage grant proposals for federal, state, and local funding opportunities
• Track grant compliance, reporting, and performance measures
• Conduct research and data analysis to support planning and policy initiatives
• Assist with government relations and stakeholder engagement
• Support long-term planning for economic growth and community resilience

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Planning, Economic Development, or related field (Master’s a plus)
• Strong writing and communication skills
• Experience in grant writing, project management, or government relations preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Passion for making a positive impact in communities
