Long Island School is looking for a certified full-time flexible educational technician level three (ET III) for a typical 40 hr week during the school year.
The school, located on a beautiful Casco Bay island, has an anticipated student population of 4 children in grades K-5 for 2025-2026. Some students with individualized educational programs and our students with regular education plans would be served as well as modeling with the lead teacher working with the entire population of children.
The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:
-be a positive collaborative team player
-protect confidentiality of student, parent and employee information
-deliver individual and small group instruction
-plan/prep lessons/activities under the direction of the teacher
-support teacher planning and prep through collaboration or clerical tasks
-record student progress during lessons/assessments
-supervise students during recess and lunch
-prep and serve student snacks or meals
-transport students or visiting staff/consultants
-participate in professional development and maintain the Me DOE Ed Tech 3 Certification
-perform other duties as assigned

Pay rate and benefits for fully certified Ed Tech 3:
This position has a competitive hourly pay rate, between $25 and $30 per hr, commensurate with experience. Annually, the position requires 8 hrs per day for 183 days.
