Masis Professional Group is recruiting for an Electrician on behalf of our client located in Ayer, MA. This is a direct hire opportunity offering a competitive salary and benefits package.

As a Licensed Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, troubleshooting and maintaining facility electrical systems in accordance with local and national electrical codes.

Responsibilities of the Electrician:

• Read, interpret, and execute drawings, schematics, blueprints and electrical code specifications.
• Install, repair or replace AC/DC motors, drives, transformers, starters, relays, and hydraulic & gas electrical controls.
• Install, repair or replace electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, line assemblies, lighting, and alternative electrical parts.
• Install electrical circuits, as well as panels, conduit, protecting devices, switches and equipment.
• Conduct preventative maintenance programs and keep maintenance records.

Requirements of the Electrician:

• Active Journeyman Electrician License for the state of Mass.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in electrical work.
• Knowledge of local and national electrical codes.
• Previous experience working with Industrial Machinery from a technical perspective.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to safety and attention to detail.
