Job Description

Golden Queen Mining Company, LLC (the “Company”) is operating a gold and silver, open pit, heap leach operation on its Soledad Mountain property, located just outside the town of Mojave in Kern County in southern California. The Project uses conventional open pit mining methods and the cyanide heap leach and Merrill-Crowe processes to recover gold and silver from crushed, agglomerated ore.

Golden Queen Mining Company is looking for a Crusher Operator to perform the day-to-day operation of the Ore Crushing plant and Conveyor Stacking system. The right candidate will have labor/production experience and experience operating small equipment. This position reports to the Crusher Supervisor. This is a safety sensitive position with Overtime, an alternative work schedule, and opportunities for advancement.

Responsibilities:

This position is for an entry level Crusher Operator. Employee will start at entry level with the expectation to continue to improve in the field of Crusher operations. Employee will be required to meet and exceed certain goals and expectations to be considered for advancement to the next level. Basic responsibilities include:

• Perform the day-to-day operation of the 3-stage crushing and screening plant and conveying and stacking system
• Monitor equipment and systems to insure proper operation
• Monitor material crushing, screening, and stacking
• Provide input and assist maintenance personnel as needed
• Perform cleanup and housekeeping to insure a safe, clean, and productive work area
• Perform conveyor and stacker moves as needed
• Completion of all work area and equipment inspections
• Follows all company policies and safety/environmental regulations
• Other duties as assigned

• Similar job experience such as aggregates, production, or manufacturing is a plus
• Must be punctual and have good attendance
• Experience working in a labor-intensive position
• Ability to follow instructions
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to work outdoors, exposed to the elements
• Willingness to learn
• Valid Driver License
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
