Job Description

A luxury resort property is seeking a dynamic and Events Director to lead its wedding and corporate events team about an hour outside of Milwaukee. The property, located in a premier vacation destination, is recognized for hosting upscale weddings, corporate functions, social gatherings, golf outings, and member-exclusive events. Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of a wide variety of events.
  • Develop and implement event strategies focused on revenue growth, brand enhancement, and guest satisfaction.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing events team.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring personalized and memorable experiences.
  • Manage budgets, contracts, vendors, and event logistics.
  • Partner with internal teams on marketing and promotional initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and operational standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in event management
  • Wedding experience
  • Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and make quick decisions.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; hospitality software knowledge a plus.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule based on business needs.

Compensation: $80,000 - $100,000 base, bonus/profit sharing, PTO, 401k, Comprehensive Health, Dental, Vision, Pet Insurance, and much more!
