Job Description

Hilton Garden Inn, Tupelo Job description Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the housekeeping department, ensuring cleanliness and orderliness throughout the facility
  • Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to maintain high standards of cleanliness
  • Train and supervise a team of housekeeping staff, providing guidance and support as needed
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation regulations
  • Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
  • Collaborate with other departments to coordinate cleaning activities and ensure efficient operations
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints related to housekeeping services
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in housekeeping management Skills:
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Attention to detail to ensure thorough cleaning and maintenance of the facility
  • Strong communication skills to interact with staff, customers, and other departments
  • Knowledge of custodial practices, industrial cleaning techniques, and proper use of cleaning equipment.
