Position Summary  

The New E3 School is a state-of-the-art, mixed-income model that is setting the standard of excellence in early education across Virginia. The flex teacher is responsible for collaborating with the teachers, staff and management team to assist with the day-to-day operations of our school. Our flex teachers will assist with setting the stage for learning, implementing the curriculum, providing strong teacher-child interactions and creating an engaging classroom for all children.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities  

• Follow all licensing standards to create a safe & healthy environment.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures.
• Assist with STREAMin3 activities (science, technology, reading, engineering, arts, and math).
• Assist with maintaining a clean, organized and safe environment.
• Provide positive interactions with children and families.
• Attend and participate in all professional development & coaching.

Skill and Abilities  

• Knowledge of early childhood education
• Experience with young children.
• Demonstrate a passion for teaching young children.
• Respect diversity and equity.
• Maintain a positive attitude and professionalism.
• Act in a professional manner at all times.
