Job Description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to load/unload paste bins and move pallets.
• Tear down boxes and band pallets per company procedure.
• Assist cook with water rinse tanks and production changeovers.
• Operate and troubleshoot blender controls; spray and add water to paste bins.
• Follow production schedule, verify paste type, inspect quality, and document per QA guidelines.
• Participate in research & development activities, including trials, new products, and process improvements.
• Complete LOTO procedures, maintain a clean work area, and follow safety and GMP standards.
• Assist in other areas as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Forklift certified and able to lift up to 50 lbs using mechanical assist.
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills; ability to follow instructions.
• Trainable to operate multiple processing equipment.
• Flexible schedule including overtime and weekends.

Working Conditions

• Clean, climate-controlled food manufacturing environment.
• May require PPE (hair nets, eye/ear protection).
• Frequent standing, walking, reaching, crouching, and climbing.
• Exposure to mechanical equipment, varying temperatures, moisture, noise, and vibration.
