Position Summary:
The Guitar Instructor is responsible for providing individual and/or group guitar lessons to students of varying skill levels and musical interests. This role includes developing customized lesson plans, teaching music theory and technique, fostering student engagement and creativity, and preparing students for performances, auditions, or personal goals. The instructor is expected to maintain a positive learning environment, assess student progress, and adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs. A strong passion for music education, proficiency in various guitar styles (e.g., classical, jazz, rock, blues), and excellent communication skills are essential. A degree in music performance or education is required.
