What the Role Is

We are looking for a bilingual, hands-on HR Manager who will own and execute all human resources functions at Lux Ice. This is a standalone role, responsible for both strategic support and day-to-day execution — including running payroll, managing benefits, and fostering a positive and compliant work environment.

You'll report directly to company leadership and work closely with both hourly team members and management, making an immediate and visible impact on our people and operations.

What You’ll Do

• Run weekly payroll
• Lead full-cycle HR operations: recruiting, onboarding, offboarding, culture, and employee relations.
• Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws (I-9, E-Verify, FMLA, ADA, etc.).
• Administer employee benefits, liaising with brokers and managing open enrollment.
• Serve as the primary HR contact for all team members, fostering a respectful and engaged culture.
• Support employee communications and feedback across English and Spanish speakers.
• Partner with The Storehouse of Collin County to support hiring and retention.
• Maintain organized employee records and ensure accurate reporting and documentation.

What You Bring

• 3–5 years of HR experience, including direct payroll processing experience.
• Fluent in English and Spanish (required).
• Strong understanding of Texas labor laws and HR best practices.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Experience with small business HR tools such as Fuse, ADP, or similar platforms.
• Ability to work fully on-site in Flower Mound, TX.
• High level of ownership, integrity, and adaptability.
