HVAC Service Manager

Charlotte, NC

Are you an experienced HVAC professional with leadership skills and a passion for team development?

RL Enterprise Recruiting & Staffing is hiring for our client, a trusted HVAC provider serving the Charlotte Metro area. We are seeking a Service Manager to lead their service department. This is an exciting opportunity to join a family-owned company known for its integrity, commitment to employees, and dedication to delivering dependable comfort to customers.

Base salary of $70,000–$90,000, with performance-based incentives (up to $150,000 total annual

compensation)

What You’ll Do

  • Oversee daily operations of the service department
  • Supervise, coach, and conduct in-field training with service technicians
  • Collaborate with dispatch and other departments to ensure scheduling accuracy and workflow optimization
  • Maintain strong customer relationships and resolve service-related issues
  • Review service invoices and warranty claims for accuracy and efficiency
  • Monitor department performance using CRM tools and drive profitability
  • Ensure technicians are trained in both technical and customer service skills

Required Qualifications

  • 6+ years of residential HVAC tech experience
  • Minimum 2 year of supervisory or team management experience
  • Must be willing to be hands-on in the field and office settings
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with CRM and reporting tools
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean record
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and growth-oriented

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with ServiceTitan software
  • Mechanical, electrical, or plumbing licensure in NC and/or SC
