Job Description

OVERVIEW

Talento has partnered with a global CPG company to find an Illustrator to support a newly launched division focused on consumer product innovation. This role is responsible for transforming early creative concepts into polished, production-ready illustrations that enhance packaging, card games, and marketing materials. The Illustrator will play a key role in bringing ideas to life through compelling visual storytelling while ensuring all artwork aligns with brand standards and production specifications. This role values creativity, collaboration, and attention to detail in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create original illustrations, characters, and environments from concept through final artwork
• Translate creative briefs into compelling visuals for packaging, cards, instructions, and promotional materials
• Collaborate with designers, art directors, and cross-functional teams to integrate illustrations into final deliverables
• Ensure alignment with brand guidelines and visual consistency across product lines
• Prepare files for production, ensuring accuracy in color, resolution, and format
• Incorporate feedback to refine artwork and meet project goals
• Stay current on trends and industry styles to ensure fresh and relevant creative execution

QUALIFICATIONS

• 2–4 years of professional illustration experience in CPG, toys, games, publishing, or entertainment
• Bachelor’s degree in Illustration, Fine Arts, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Strong drawing, rendering, and visual storytelling skills, with a portfolio showcasing diverse styles and finished artwork
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) and/or digital tools like Procreate or Clip Studio
• Experience preparing artwork for production, including color management and file formatting
• Strong communication and collaboration skills in a creative team setting
• Interest in pop culture, entertainment, and consumer products preferred

DOE $36-$39 per hour
