About the Role

An established and growing custom plastics manufacturer is seeking an experienced Injection Molding Processor / Plastics Process Technician to join its production team. This hands-on role is ideal for professionals who enjoy working with advanced molding technology, solving process challenges, and ensuring product quality in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, start, and optimize injection molding machines and processes.
• Troubleshoot molds, materials, and part quality issues to minimize downtime.
• Verify and document machine setups and process changes.
• Collaborate with Production and Quality teams to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
• Support continuous improvement, cost reduction, and safety initiatives.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in plastic injection molding .
• Strong understanding of resins, tooling, and machine operation .
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and optimize molding processes.
• Experience with IQMS or similar manufacturing systems (preferred).
• Detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and reliable under production conditions.
