Bestica is seeking Registered Nurse – Intensive Care Unit to provide services to Joint Base Fort Lewis-McChord, Tacoma, WA.

Mandatory Qualifications :

• Associate's degree in nursing (ASN) Graduate from a college or university accredited by Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) or as otherwise identified in the TO.
• One Year of Experience in Nursing
• Current unrestricted RN license in one of the 50 US States and/or territories.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• US Citizen
• NACI background check

Task and Responsibilities :

• Performs critical care duties, to include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating age-specific nursing care across all ages.
• Functions as a patient advocate. Assesses patient/ family knowledge level, develops, and implements a plan of instruction and documents demonstrated level of understanding.
• Manages care of patients for a wide range of procedures of an advanced nature and difficulty where there is a high risk for infection and bodily functions are mechanically assisted by life support equipment.
• Nurses who will assist in providing conscious sedation must have conscious sedation training provided at MAMC prior to providing conscious sedation.
• HCW’s will be required to float within similar specialties
