Job Overview:

We are seeking a talented IT UX Product Designer to join our UX Product Design team, focusing on enhancing customer self-service experiences across multiple lines of business, such as Auto, Home, and Renters insurance. This role emphasizes billing, payments, and policy changes, with a strong focus on user-centered design solutions that prioritize ease of use, best-in-class interaction design, and optimized user experiences. The ideal candidate will work in an Agile environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to address customer pain points and achieve business outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate in an Agile environment with dispersed teams, attending daily ceremonies and partnering with content designers, product owners, engineers, and other stakeholders.



• Analyze and address complex product requirements and interaction design challenges to create innovative solutions that meet user and business needs.



• Continuously seek and integrate user feedback through immersive user research, concept testing, and usability testing to optimize user experiences.



• Coordinate across multiple projects and work streams to ensure a seamless user experience within a complex product ecosystem.



• Collaborate with stakeholders, including finance, business SMEs, and process owners, synthesizing feedback and articulating design decisions effectively.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.



• 3+ years of UX/product design experience.



• Proficiency in methodologies such as Agile, Design Thinking, Lean UX, and human-centered design.



• Strong expertise in FIGMA and familiarity with visual design, UX design, prototyping, information architecture, front-end development, and user research.



• Exceptional written and oral communication skills, with the ability to present projects and status reports to senior management.



• Strong organizational and analytical thinking skills, with the ability to translate complex content into user scenarios, flows, and diagrams.



• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.



• Online portfolio showcasing UX work and/or case studies.



• Experience with insurance claims is a plus.

Pay Range: $50.00 - $64.28

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
