JOB TITLE: Junior Designer
Supervisor: Principal
Description:
To support and participate with a design team in creating functionally beautiful spaces
for residential and commercial clients while using industry knowledge, design experience,
and creativity.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
-To work on projects from all phases of design through installation, including, but not limited to AutoCad and SketchUp, sourcing, specifying and procurement. Construction Drawings, 3D modeling and space planning
- Work directly with team to create and presentations to include drawings, furniture, FF & E, surface materials, color palettes and lighting.
-Generate plan specifications based on client needs and contract requirements
-Generate model, finish plans, specifications and material selections needed for construction
-Assist Principal and Sr. Designer to source and work with outside vendors to procure and coordinate all furniture, fixtures and accessories.
-Manage multiple projects
-Work with external consultants, product representatives, furniture dealers and fabricators.
-Graphic and visualization skills to effectively communicate design ideas through 3D modeling..
Qualifications
-2+ years Interior Design experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design
-Proficient in AutoCAD (3 years), Sketch up (3years), Adobe Creative suite, Microsoft Office, Enscape.
-Knowledge of furniture, finishes, materials, color selections and specifications
-Team Player, Interior Inspirations works as a team.
-Knowledge of design requirements, construction methods and materials for high end residential projects
-Ability to multitask, work independently, as well as in a team.
-Experience in service /retail industry is considered an asset.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $64,601.00 - $67,685.00 per year
