Our client, a well-established high-end residential construction firm in Monmouth County, is seeking a Junior Estimator to join its growing team! This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional who wants to get their foot in the door in construction and build a long-term career in the industry.

This role is ideal for someone with a construction- or design-related degree who prefers a dynamic, hands-on environment over a traditional cubicle setting and wants exposure to how luxury homes are built from the ground up.

Responsibilities

• Assist with cost estimates for luxury residential construction projects
• Review architectural drawings, plans, and specifications
• Perform quantity takeoffs and pricing analysis
• Help solicit and analyze subcontractor and vendor pricing
• Support pre-construction budgeting and planning
• Learn the estimating and pre-construction process from concept through contract
• Collaborate with design, construction, and leadership teams
• Gain exposure to client-facing interactions

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or nearing completion) in one of the following: Construction Engineering, Construction Technology, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture (or a closely related field)
• Strong interest in pursuing a career in construction
• Open to candidates changing paths from traditional engineering roles into construction
• Internship or exposure to construction is a plus, but not required
• Sharp, motivated, professional, and eager to learn
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
