Job Title: Lead Superintendent – Residential Mid/High-Rise Construction

Location: Hialeah, FL

Employment Type: Full-Time

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Lead Superintendent to oversee the ground-up construction of residential mid- and high-rise projects . This role is critical in ensuring that projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. The ideal candidate is a proven leader with strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage all field operations from start to completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all on-site construction activities , from mobilization through project turnover.
  • Manage, coordinate, and supervise all subcontractors, trades, and field staff.
  • Develop and maintain construction schedules , ensuring milestones and deadlines are met.
  • Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and company safety standards.
  • Oversee quality control to ensure work meets plans, specs, and client expectations.
  • Coordinate closely with Project Managers, Engineers, and Owners to resolve issues quickly.
  • Conduct regular site meetings with subcontractors and stakeholders.
  • Manage project documentation including RFIs, daily reports, inspections, and closeout.
  • Mentor and support Assistant Superintendents and field staff.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of construction experience, with at least 5 years in a Superintendent role .
  • Proven track record in ground-up residential mid/high-rise projects .
  • Strong knowledge of construction means, methods, and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, schedules, and contracts.
  • Proficiency with project management and scheduling software (Procore, MS Project, Primavera, etc.).
  • OSHA 30 certification preferred.
