Job Description

A midtown-based global law firm is seeking a temporary Legal Assistant to support a team of 5-10 attorneys. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail and will be comfortable working in a fast-paced setting.

Hourly pay rate: $40-50/hr

On-site four days/week

Responsibilities:

  • Manage complex calendars
  • Manage time and expenses
  • Schedule and coordinate travel, both internationally and domestically
  • Maintain and produce documentation and database
  • Organize files and streamline the organization process
  • Conduct research and handle client correspondence
  • Prepare meetings and presentation materials
  • Create, revise, and format legal documents, spreadsheets, and presentations.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in an executive support role, ideally within a law firm
  • Proven ability to handle highly confidential information
  • Demonstrated ability to self-motivate, think critically, and be a team player
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Superior organizational and project management skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) and strong computer literacy
