Job Description

Client Overview: Leading New York based loungewear and underwear company recognized for creating trend driven licensed apparel. Specializing in sleepwear, intimates, and loungewear, they partner with top entertainment brands including Nickelodeon, Warner Bros., Strawberry Shortcake, Peanuts, and Betty Boop to deliver high quality, fashion forward products across major retail channels.

Position Overview: As the Graphic Designer, you will have strong trend awareness, licensing experience, and a creative mindset who’s ready to bring fresh energy to a small, collaborative, and fast paced environment.

Graphic Designer Responsibilities

  • Research seasonal trends and perform competitive market analysis
  • Create concept boards, mockups, and design presentations for internal and licensor meetings
  • Develop seasonal concepts aligned with brand strategy, sales goals, and market trends
  • Create detailed artwork and maintain accurate specification and line sheets
  • Approve and ensure color consistency per brand and licensor standards
  • Collaborate cross functionally with tech design, production, and vendors
  • Manage communication with licensors and brand approvals throughout the design process
  • Support full product development cycle from concept to final execution

Graphics Designer Qualifications:

  • 2 to 5 years of relevant adult apparel graphic design experience, preferably in sleepwear or loungewear
  • Experience working with licensed products and managing brand approval processes
  • Strong organizational and communication skills; team player with a proactive attitude
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with close attention to detail
  • In depth knowledge of garment construction, fabrication, trims, and fit
  • Strong sketching skills and design sensibility
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design or related field
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop) and Microsoft Office
