Job Description

In this fast-paced and global-facing role, you will manage all aspects of import and export operations with minimal supervision, ensuring full compliance with government regulations and company policies. You will be a key driver in streamlining international trade processes-working closely with regional coordinators, warehousing, production planning, and logistics partners to move goods efficiently and accurately across borders. This role offers the opportunity to shape best practices, strengthen global trade compliance, and contribute to a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement.
Desired Skills and Experience

Key Competencies

Deep knowledge of U.S. and international trade laws, regulations, and standards, including those governed by APHIS, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), USDA, and related agencies.

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively.

Skilled in project management and data-driven analysis to support operational and compliance objectives.

Proficient in enterprise systems such as SAP and global trade management platforms (experience preferred).

Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work variable hours and manage time effectively in high-demand environments.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Manufacturing, International Commerce, or a related discipline; or equivalent professional experience (7+ years) in import/export or global trade operations.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in roles involving import/export compliance, logistics coordination, or supply chain management.

Prior experience with agricultural, chemical, or regulated products is highly advantageous.
