We are searching for a mail clerk on behalf of our client. This is a 5-month contract assignment (W-2) The person will be opening and classifying payment mail on high-speed mail opening equipment. The person would need to meet department performance standards for speed and accuracy. Must be willing to work extended hours when needed.

Pay rate:$18.00/hr.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
• Operates equipment that sorts envelopes with customer payments based on business rules and delivers to the next processing step
• Performs basic troubleshooting of equipment as needed
• Operates high speed mail processing equipment to open envelopes, extract content, and image documents to process payments
• Operates rapid extraction machinery efficiently to process exceptions that cannot be handled through high speed equipment
• Uses vendor software to complete simple keying functions to apply customer payments or route change of address requests
Requirements
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned
• Must work be willing to work a rotating shift across Monday to Saturday
• Work is physical in nature
• Must be able to lift trays of 10 to 15 lbs.
