Maintenance Supervisor 3rd Shift / Food Manufacturing

Growing food manufacturing client is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor who can lead the efforts of the Maintenance Department to maintain and support plant equipment and facilities in world-class working order. We need a leader who can technically evaluate the situations, find the optimum solution, prioritize the projects & tasks, and communicate the information using excellent communication skills.
This Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for the preventive maintenance program, and maintenance of production equipment and facilities. You’ll be accountable for directing the preventive maintenance program that is designed to minimize unscheduled down time. Other areas of accountability include:
• Supervise operation of assigned maintenance technicians
• Schedule and assign tasks and/or work orders
• Foster teamwork as you coach and develop teammates, utilizing the performance management system
• Ensure staff follows & supports all GMPs, regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements
• Develop and implement training plans for mechanics to enhance their skills.
Minimum Requirements for this Maintenance Supervisor:
• At least 3 years of experience in food manufacturing & facilities maintenance leadership position
• Proficiency with PLCs
• Solid working knowledge of refrigeration, electricity/pneumatics, motor controls, building maintenance, plumbing and HVAC
• Experience with processing and packaging equipment and electronic control systems.
