My client in Chandler, AZ is currently hiring a, Quality Engineer (Medical device or Automotive or Aerospace) on a 6-week contract basis.

Note:

• This is an onsite contract in Chandler, AZ. (Must currently live in AZ)
• Mon to Fri 8AM to 5 PM
• W2 only, No 3rd parties/Corp to Corp

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to support a high-priority, short-term project for one of our largest medical device customers. This contract position is initially scoped for six weeks, with the potential for extension based on project timelines and workload.

• This role requires a candidate who can hit the ground running, with minimal ramp-up time, and bring strong quality experience in regulated industries such as medical devices, aerospace, or automotive.
• The successful candidate will support qualification and documentation activities, including FAI (First Article Inspection) processes, PPAP, PSW, and customer-specific requirements.

Key Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, ideally in the medical device, aerospace, or automotive industries.
• Strong understanding of FAI, PPAP, and PSW processes and requirements.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings, ask the right questions, and communicate findings or needs.
• Highly detail-oriented, organized, and process-driven.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.).
