Role Description

This is an entry level position . We’re looking for a versatile Marketing & Operations Assistant to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with strong writing skills and an eye for detail who also enjoys supporting day-to-day operations. You’ll play a key part in creating and optimizing content for our e-commerce site, assisting with SEO initiatives, improving product descriptions, and providing support with production and customer service as needed.

Responsibilities

Marketing & Content

  • Write, edit, and publish blog posts that align with SEO best practices and brand voice
  • Research and generate relevant keywords to drive organic search traffic
  • Improve and update product descriptions for clarity, engagement, and SEO optimization
  • Assist in managing website content and ensuring product listings are accurate and compelling
  • Support email marketing campaigns, promotions, and other marketing initiatives as needed

Operations & Customer Support

  • Provide assistance with production tasks, ensuring products are prepared and fulfilled accurately
  • Support customer service by responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining a positive customer experience
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth workflows across marketing, operations, and fulfillment
  • Assist with other administrative or operational projects as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail
  • Familiarity with SEO principles, keyword research, and e-commerce platforms
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to take on diverse tasks and adapt to changing priorities

Bonus Skills

  • Experience with Shopify, BigCommerce, or other e-commerce platforms
  • Customer service experience in a retail or e-commerce environment
