As a Medical Biller , you will be under the supervision of the Billing Coordinator. The Medical Billing Assistant is responsible for data entry and claims management.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately enter demographic data of CRBHS members into the health record system.
• Update and maintain existing health data in member records.
• Utilize software and websites proficiently to generate and distribute reports to team members.
• Provide necessary support to the billing and administrative teams.
• Conduct phone calls with insurance companies when required.
• Contribute to the Coordination of Care team discussions to optimize documentation and successful billing for medically necessary health care services.
• Creating claims
• Submitting claims to insurance companies
• Posting payments from insurance companies

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent, highly computer literate and great attention to detail are required for this position. This is a remote position, so familiarity or comfort with video conferencing is required, as is the ability to work without immediate supervision. Data entry experience, especially in a healthcare environment such as a medical front office, would be beneficial.

Perform additional duties as assigned.
