MENTAL HEALTH WELLNESS LINE PROFESSIONAL POSITION SUMMARY

The Mental Health Wellness Line Professional provides off-shift telephonic triage and support for patients under the direction of the behavioral health staff to augment existing response protocols.

MENTAL HEALTH WELLNESS LINE PROFESSIONAL ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Provides wellness line triage and support from 8pm to 8am 7 days per week using technological resources.
• Provides support around psychosocial stressors for patients and escalates crisis and high-risk calls as needed, to include: utili
• Communicates to site mental health teams all calls received to ensure proper follow up planning as indicated.
• Identifies warning signs of increased risk and notifies appropriate parties with urgency needed to ensure safety of patient.
• Provides education to patients related to accessing resources, such as how to access mental health and medical services via sick slip an crisis protocols.
• Attends training and meetings as required.
• Documents details of each call, including the nature of the call, intervention provided, and disposition in the patient record.
• Demonstrates proficiency in all company software required for the position.
• Other duties as assigned.

MENTAL HEALTH WELLNESS LINE PROFESSIONAL MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Human Services or related field preferred. Must be a licensed professional to include LCSW, LICSW, LMHC
• Subject to initial and ongoing security clearance requirements.

• Full-Time
• Night Shift
• Evening Shift
• Hybrid role with 16 hours in person on site at SBCC
