Key Responsibilities:
• Represent creditors and debtors in complex Chapter 11 and other bankruptcy proceedings.
• Advise clients on both in-court and out-of-court restructuring strategies.
• Manage high-value commercial bankruptcy cases independently.
• Draft and negotiate pleadings, motions, and other litigation documents.
• Develop and execute legal strategies while collaborating with attorneys from multiple practice areas.
• Maintain strong client relationships and actively participate in business development initiatives.
Qualifications:
• Extensive experience representing both borrowers and lenders in bankruptcy and restructuring, with a focus on Chapter 11 cases.
• Demonstrable expertise in complex commercial bankruptcy litigation.
• JD from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in Texas or eligibility for admission.
• A strong, portable book of business is preferred.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and litigation skills.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while managing a substantial caseload.
