InSync PLUS has been a leader in film and television marketing for over 30 years and works with most major motion picture studios, streaming, and television outlets. We are looking for a talented, self-driven Motion Graphics Intern to join our team!

This is a great opportunity to get hands-on experience supporting our Motion Graphics Intern , working closely as an apprentice to advance your skill set.

Under the mentorship of the team, you will have the opportunity to gain a working knowledge of conceptualizing, designing, and animating 2D and 3D titles for Theatrical, Streaming and Broadcast campaigns including trailers, TV spots, and social content.

We are seeking a candidate that will thrive under a skilled mentor and advance within the company.

The internship is 40 hours per week. The company is hybrid with the option to be fully remote. We are located in Los Angeles, CA and require PST hours.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

• An educational background in Motion Graphics/Animation/Design
• An interest in motion graphics for TV / Broadcast, Streaming and / or Social Media
• Experience with Adobe apps (After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop)
• Basic knowledge of layouts, typography, design composition, timing, and other graphic design/illustration fundamentals
• Design and conceptual problem-solving skills
• Experience with exporting in multiple formats for finishing
• Passionate about learning VFX, including but not limited to, roto-scoping, camera tracking, keying, design, typography, and animation
• Skilled multitasker with a keen attention to detail
• Organized self-starter who is able to take direction well and communicate effectively
• Positive attitude :)
• MUST provide an up to date reel or link to portfolio

BONUS POINTS

• Background using 3D software packages such as Cinema 4D
• Prior experience/classes in Graphic Design, Motion Design, Visual Effects, or Post-production

RESPONSIBILITIES

• This role is designed for the super creative / innovative thinkers that are eager to learn and grow in the motion graphic field of design, reporting directly to the Senior Motion Graphics Designer
• Attend AV check-in meetings to share insights into projects
• Work on smaller projects and collaborate with other designers
• Research and conceptualize ideas for Style frames (2D and/or 3D animation)
• Assist the AV production team in generating multiple versions/sizes of marketing spots
• Learning the ins and outs of the post-production world

The salary range for this potion is $38,000 to $45,000 depending on levels of experience and skill level.
