Newcastle Public Schools is accepting applications for the position of Native American Program Coordinator.
The successful applicant will perform duties under the supervision of the Assistant Superintendent by providing leadership and public relations relative to the Native American Education program. This position will also provide leadership to more actively involve parents in the education process and improve staff knowledge of issues related to being Native American through professional development and other support activities.
Other duties may include coordinating, organizing and monitoring cultural activities within the program; communicating with various stakeholders.
