What You’ll Be Doing
• Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students with IEPs or 504 plans.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address fine motor, sensory processing, visual motor, self-help, and school-related functional skills.
• Conduct assessments using standardized tools in accordance with California Department of Education (CDE) guidelines.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support students’ access to curriculum and full participation in school activities.
• Participate in IEP meetings, offering expert recommendations and helping shape appropriate accommodations or modifications.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation and adhere to California state OT practice acts, IDEA, FERPA, and district policies.
• Support classroom staff and parents through training, coaching, and resource development.
What We’re Looking For
• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active California Occupational Therapy License (OTR/L) through the California Board of Occupational Therapy (CBOT).
• NBCOT certification.
• At least 1 year of pediatric or school-based experience preferred (new grads welcome to apply).
• Strong interpersonal, documentation, and case management skills.
