Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Industrial Painter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in painting and finishing industrial components, utilizing various techniques and tools to ensure high-quality results. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking as necessary.
• Apply paint using airless paint spraying techniques and other methods to achieve desired finishes.
• Operate power tools and hand tools for painting and assembly tasks.
• Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes through lean manufacturing principles.
• Maintain equipment and work area in a clean and organized manner.
• Assist in machining tasks as needed, demonstrating mechanical knowledge throughout the process.
• Utilize cranes for moving large components safely during the painting process.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in industrial painting or a related field is preferred.
• Familiarity with auto body repair techniques is a plus.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various power tools and hand tools effectively.
• Basic math skills for measuring and mixing paint accurately.
• Understanding of lean manufacturing principles is advantageous.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
