Job Description

Paralegal

Location: Pasadena, CA.

Pay Rate and Benefits: $41.25 per hour. This is a contract position for a 6–12 month assignment.

Position Type: Contract, Hybrid (3 days onsite)

LHH is currently seeking a skilled Paralegal to join a non-profit organization in Pasadena, CA. As a Paralegal, you will play a vital role in supporting our legal team across a range of corporate and transactional matters. This position requires strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced legal environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and prepare legal documents related to real estate transactions, entity formation, and corporate governance.
  • Support alternative investment processes by analyzing agreements, investor forms, and compliance documentation.
  • Assist with tax-related filings, powers of attorney, and country registrations for custodian accounts.
  • Conduct legal research using WESTLAW, LEXIS, and other online tools; manage legal invoices and matter tracking.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, and matter management software for document handling and collaboration.

Qualifications:

  • Paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved or California-accredited program, or equivalent from another state, plus 4 years of paralegal experience in a legal office.
  • OR law degree from an accredited law school with at least 1 year of paralegal experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in the responsibilities listed above.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a legal team.
