Job Position: Patient Coordinator

Job Location: 2605 Reach Road, Williamsport, PA 17701

Job Type: Full-Time

Salary Description: $16.00-$18.00/hour, based on experience

Responsibilities

Ensure an amazing patient experience through friendly, enthusiastic, and professional service with all patients, team members and external partners.
Answer telephone calls, greet patients and visitors upon arrival, and provide excellent customer service for all questions or concerns.
Articulate the services and products available in the clinic.
Register new patients in line with acceptable standards of the clinic, support patients in completing medical forms at the clinic to avoid errors and inaccurate information.
Maintain the patient’s electronic medical record and coordinate the scheduling of the patient’s future appointments with all providers as directed.
Collect payment at the time of service and follow up on outstanding payments.
Request and track authorizations for all funding streams to ensure approval.
Produce accurate and timely end of day reports.
Attend team meetings or events as requested.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and exp.
Medical receptionist experience a plus
EMR scheduling software knowledge a plus
Spreadsheet and Word Processing software.
