Pay Range: $30 - $35/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

• Payroll Operations & Reporting
• Monthly BLS (Bureau of Labor Statistics) reporting
• New hire reporting on the 1st and 15th of each month
• Reconciliation tasks using UKG (time system) and Workday (main payroll software)
• Banking-related tasks: stop payments, direct deposit returns
• Generate reports for various stakeholders (e.g., credit unions, union dues)
• Backup support for another payroll analyst
• Analysis & Compliance
• Heavy focus on data analysis and reconciliation
• Must understand pay rates and levels (e.g., specialist vs. manager)
• No garnishment experience required (outsourced to ADP), but it's a plus

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Key Skills; Payroll Processing/Admin (2+); Multi state payroll/Payroll tax/Accounting; Manage 3P; ADP/Workday/Kronos
• Excel proficiency: Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and other advanced functions
• Workday: Used for payroll processing or something similar
• UKG: Used for timekeeping or something similar
• Experience with large payroll platforms is preferred
• CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) preferred
• A bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in payroll processing and administration.
• Advanced multi-state payroll, multi-pay cycle processing, payroll tax and accounting skills experience
• 2+ years payroll experience in a large, multi-state manufacturing environment preferred
• ADP Services preferred
• Workday (Payroll) experience, preferred
• Kronos Time/Attendance preferred
• Larger payroll platform experience required
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel.
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects and work with other teams to meet deadlines
• Ability to remain flexible, positive and enthusiastic to change and new assignments
