The Judge Group, a Technology, Talent & Learning Solutions company based in Wayne, PA, that helps professionals find top jobs with the nation’s leading brands. We’re looking to hire a Performance Test Engineer for a Full-Time Permanent role.

As a Principal SDET - Performance Test Engineer, your responsibilities will involve defining performance testing strategy, designing automated scripts, executing tests, analyzing results, and ensuring our software systems exceed performance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive performance testing across our software product portfolio, including medical devices with embedded software and associated web applications.
• Design, develop, and execute automated non-functional test scenarios for performance, load, scalability, reliability, and endurance testing.
• Analyze test results and report on key performance metrics such as response times, error rates, throughput, and CPU/memory utilization to diagnose system issues.
• Collaborate with architects to drive performance testing standards and optimize the performance, scalability, and reliability of our systems.
• Remain hands-on, contributing to multiple codebases while providing technical leadership within Agile teams.
• Design and implement testing frameworks and design patterns to support performance testing at all levels of the test pyramid.
• Collaborate across teams to enhance Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) techniques.
• Train, coach, and provide leadership for the functional group's development, direction, and effectiveness.
• Review and approve code and test pull requests to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in an SDET role, with a minimum of 5 years in performance testing.
• Experience with APIs, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Proficiency in an object-oriented programming language such as .NET C#, C++, or Python.
• Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter.
